Set up of a salt chlorination private pool

Salt chlorination is a purification and water disinfecting system for pools that has become popular in recent years. In fact, it is a system that, using common salt as a precursor to disinfectant, it gives a series of benefits that a conventional chlorination system does not offer, no generation of chemical by-products in the water, better bathing experience and minimal energy consumption.

We know that more and more people decide to change their water disinfection system for the salt chlorination solution, that is why we have created our QUICKSALT e-360 equipment, designed and manufactured so that any user can easily install it in their home without any problems.

If you need to know how to set up your private pool with a salt chlorination system, you must follow the following steps so that you can install it correctly.

To start, carry out a general review of the operation of the pool to verify that everything is working correctly. Following this, the pool must be cleaned out; this step is very important to have a good working base while disinfecting the pool. The entire pool must be cleaned; the walls, the bottom, and the surface, as there may be leaves that have fallen from the trees, or even elements that are on the surface, such as insects or dust. Also, a very important and essential step, is to check the pH levels in the water; these must be between 7,2 and 7,6. Finally, salt will be added to the pool’s vessel until reaching a concentration of 5 grams per liter (around 5 kg of salt for each cubic meter that the pool may have).

In the installation of the QUICKSALT e-360, first we must make sure that the equipment is turned off and disconnected from the mains. Once the equipment is mounted in the pipes, the chlorinator supply must be connected to the control panel; this connection must be carried out in parallel to the filtration pump.

Secondly, the adequate production of g/h must be selected depending on the volume of the pool and the filtration hours. Following this, after turning on the equipment, it will be possible to observe how chlorine production begins in the equipment cell, starting the disinfection process of the pool water.

Once these steps have been followed, your water will stay clean for longer and you will not need to buy chemicals to keep it healthy. However, we must not forget to make revisions so that it is always in excellent condition and thus you can enjoy a healthy and relaxing bath.
